Can you tell your (motherhood) story in 6 words?

Pop on over at Smith Magazine’s Six Word Momoirs and give it a try.

I think writing a 1,000 word memoir is relatively easier than summing up everything you want to say in just 6 words. You have to think harder for words that will really capture the essence of what you mean.

Six Word Momoirs is actually a contest for moms, I entered two entries just for fun. :)

Smith Magazine also has Six-Word Memoirs where you can write your life story in, of course, just 6 words. I had to think harder for this one, can’t think of six words just yet.

Thanks to Write Now is Good for the heads up.

I’d love to know your six-word story. Fire away in the comments section below.

Have fun! :)

It’s never easy to say in six words about how great our mothers can be.

I would say: “She’s The Reason Behind My Life”

Hi Jayme, hopped on over from your comment on my blog (thanks for stopping by!) I’m not married - but would like to be a mom some day - so I guess my version of a momoir would be: “Your name is tatooed in hope.” :)

Thanks for your responses everyone. :D

K: Very true.
Sarah: Sometimes I feel Unconditional love is not even enough to describe it.
Blue rose: Amen.
Mama Stone: Unexpected is certainly something I’ll use to describe my motherhood too.
J Ana: What a unique momoir!
Inventing Matilda: Can’t help but feel my child’s emotions times ten.

Hope you all have a great week ahead! :D
