When you expect something good to happen
Good things will come to you.
I’ve always believed that whatever challenges come into our lives, we have what it takes to face them and see them through.
And just when you think nobody else can help you, trust that there is a Higher Power at work who is standing by you through it all.

Over the past week, Kernan and I have been facing some financial challenges.
Money has never been an issue from the beginning of our marriage.
One time when I told Kernan I was inclined to be a stay at home mom, he said he will fully support my decision.
But I decided to continue working because I want to help him out. Plus, I want to have my own money when I want to buy some stuff. (And sometimes, I want a lot of stuff.)
Since we both work, our finances were pretty stable. We manage to save some and spend some for the occasional luxuries.
When we learned that Kalia was coming, we knew we had to double our efforts to organize our budget.
And then, as if on cue, the hurdles started coming at us. We learned that we had to pull our belts a couple notches tighter than what we planned.\
Worry was beginning to creep in and my head was spinning in budget computations and numbers.
But being the constant optimist, I expected that something good will happen out of this situation. It was going to be a big adjustment to be sure, but I knew we could do it.
The other day, I received some good news that will allow us to jump high over our financial hurdle. I thanked the Big Man over and over because I knew He was helping us all along.
I am not a religious person but I believe in Higher Power. And when you draw on that Higher Power, as the Bible says, “mighty forces will come to your aid.”
I expected it to happen but I am still amazed at how things work out when you choose to remain strong and have faith.
When you focus on the good things and become grateful for what you have, including your trials, you open yourself up for more blessings.
When you believe, you’ll get nothing less than a miracle.

hi jayme… i’m glad you were able to sort out your financial issues. I too had that struggle just last month and boy, I thought I was gonna lose my head!
I do believe God had a reason why had to go through so much…and I survived… I’m not saying I’m ready for the next one but at least I know what to do… and I know who to call… *hugs*
