“Just take this everyday if you want to be sexy and slim like….”
As I was riding the train to work, I listened to this radio ad go on and on about how it can solve your weight loss woes and make you slim like this so and so celebrity.
It’s not surprising that, just like many other diet pills, they conveniently left out the fact that you have to exercise and eat right to achieve your ideal fit and healthy weight.
Weight loss is big business and many are profiting from selling the so-called magic pills that promise to make you lose weight. From Apidexin to Zylotrim, it seems that there’s a diet pill for every letter of the alphabet.
I know these quick fixes can be very tempting. I tried some “magic pills” myself and I did see some results… which soon disappeared after I stopped taking them.
The only real weight loss I achieved was due to exercise and healthy eating.
Physical activity and a healthy meal plan may sound boring but they do work.
When you stop believing in the magic pill and actually do the work it takes to be fit and healthy, you’ll find it was all worth it.
