Since I started working freelance, I’ve been thankful for all the opportunities that have been coming my way. It reassures me all the more that I really made the right choice.

Now that I have more control over my time, I’m thinking of continuing my plan of putting up my “online business.” I’ve started working on it last year, but I got distracted by a million and one things so I wasn’t really able to complete it. I was subscribed to a lot of make money online “gurus,” I kept jumping from one opp to another until I got burnt out.

Recently, I read blog by an online contact who went the route that I wanted to take. And while she hasn’t become a millionaire overnight, she is growing her business. I realized that no matter what opp you take, it can grow as long as you keep working on it. So I’ve decided that I’m going to stick with my original plan.

I like what she said that you should treat your online properties as businesses. I don’t really know yet how to run a business, but it’s always good to learn. Steer clear of the shiny things and flashy add ons, just stick with the basics at first. Then when you’ve got money to invest, be selective about the things you spend on.

Right now,I’m good to go with my web hosting and my blog set up. When I’ve got money to invest, I can spend on ecommerce web hosting, a premium product delivery system and maybe professional web design for an ecommerce site.

The initial goal is to work on it part time so that it grows large enough that I can make it into my main business generating both active and passive income.

The end goal? Total financial freedom. Traveling. Blogging. Shopping. Eating. Having our very own home sweet home.
