When somebody dies of a disease or certain type of cancer, do you find yourself searching for answers whether you’re also at risk?
Sometimes I do.
We often dismiss these kinds of things and take our health for granted because we always think that the big C can never happen to us.
But if we’re not careful, nothing guarantees that it can’t.
The first time I became aware of colon cancer was when I read this article online about colon cleansing three years ago.
It actually seemed like an afterthought because colon cleansing was highlighted as a way to lose weight. Like “Colon cleansing can help clean up your insides and trim your tummy. And oh, it can prevent colon cancer too.”
The author went to a wellness center to undergo some some colon flushing which cost some serious bucks.
Back then, I wanted to try it mainly for the tummy – trimming effect.
But with the recent events, it makes me think maybe doing some colon cleansing now might be a good idea so that I’ll only have 20 years or so of dirt to flush.
The good thing is when you do a search online for colon cleanse, you can actually buy supplements that you can take at home — more convenient and cheaper too.
(There’s a host of options to choose from. Usually, the brands have a cleanse attached on them like Dual Action Cleanse or a play on the word colon like Colovox. Just do your due diligence to find out which brands work best for you.)
It could just be a bit inconvenient because you’ll be doing a lot of trips to the bathroom. Certainly, something you cannot do during the work week so you’ll have to save this one for when you have a long vacation.
But that would seem like a small price to pay for the benefit: mainly fighting off the big CC. The tummy trimming and skin cleansing effect, of course, are great bonuses too.
Have any of you tried colon cleansing and how did it work for you?
