I did not make a wishlist this year because I’ve already got the best gifts ever. I guess as you grow more mature, you [...]

I’ve always told myself to just do what I want with my life.

“Follow your dreams, pursue your passion,” I tell myself.

It’s always so easy to say it and harder to do it.

But every now and then, I see proof that it can be done if I set my mind to it — no matter how impossible or crazy that dream may seem.

I stumbled on this video and it really made my day. Take a moment to watch it, I’m sure you’ll like it too and maybe you’ll also feel inspired like I do.

Feelings, failure and finding happiness are the three main lessons Oprah shared in her commencement speech to Stanford University graduates whom she fondly called “O-eights.”

Oprah is and will always be the role model for me. She’s humorous, inspiring, passionate, beautiful and real.

Watch this video and be inspired.

I always try to be in a state of gratitude everyday. It helps to put my life in perspective and keeps me focused on the good things.
Recently, I’ve been practicing another thing that makes my life more meaningful and fulfilling. I’ve been keeping track and remembering the “highs” of my day.
A high could mean something [...]

When things don’t go your way…

Sunset

…how do you deal with it?
Do you mope about the sudden change in plans or do you welcome the new outcomes?
Sometimes things go the way you planned and sometimes they don’t. Either way, you have a choice to accept what happens for what it is and move on.
Move forward.
Move up.
Look closer, maybe the changes that [...]

This is my desktop inspiration.
I found Christian Larson’s Optimist Creed in the Secret website and I have been reading it everyday before I get down to work. It’s like a mission statement that guides me through the day.
According to this site, Christian Larson was a New Thought leader and he penned the Optimist’s Creed in [...]
