SUMILON 2005: Pristine beach

I took this picture when we went to Sumilon Island in Cebu two years ago.

I woke up early to catch the sunrise and got entranced by the beauty of the beach. The feeling of the cold breeze on my face and the sound of waves gently touching the shore gave me a sense of peace.

I love beautiful beaches because just gazing at them gives me pure bliss.

I find myself staring at the wonderful sight for minutes, trying to capture every detail and locking it in my memory.

When I feel down, anxious or confused, I look at the photographs I’ve taken of the beach, close my eyes and try to relive that serene moment.

I realize there’s so much beauty all around me.

No matter what happens, life is and will always be beautiful.

If I could, I would fly there every week just to soak in that serenity. :)
