“So what do you want for your birthday?”
My big girl’s birthday is almost here. It used to be easy buying gifts for baby, but she’s now turning into a little lady with her own tastes. And since she knows what she wants, might as well ask her.
“Can I have a big castle, Mommy?”
She saw it once in Toys ‘R Us, months ago. Something similar but bigger than this.
And just as she would with any other toy she takes a fancy on, she would ask, “Mommy can I have that?” to which I’d always reply, “We’ll see.”
She changes her mind all the time so I thought she won’t really remember. But considering that it’s been quite awhile since we last saw that toy, I think she has really set her sights on it.
“I want one too Mommy,” the little one pipes in.
Looks like we’ll have a princess theme for her birthday. Or maybe I’ll ask her again in a week.
