Some people have gold medals, golf trophies or old photographs displayed on their walls. My decor of choice: my big girl’s school projects.
This one is extra special because it depicts her first day of school. It hangs right above my desk in the corner of our room – a constant source of inspiration for everything I do.
I’m photographing her projects as a way to preserve them because I’m not sure how long I can keep them intact. It would be fun to create a montage on her 18th birthday with all these photos in them.
They’re far from stellar works of art, but for a mom like me: they are priceless masterpieces.

I’d have to agree with you on that. My ‘works of art’ are Mia’s artwork and photos she took! dapat nga ma-preserve no? It’d be nice to make an avp for her 18th bday =)
