I’ve been feeling a little sluggish lately. Blame it on the lack of exercise and lots of junk food. I keep reminding myself to buy fruits whenever I’m tempted to buy snacks at 7-11 but when hunger strikes, the chips and chocolates win.
It’s satisfying for awhile but once the initial high wears off, the lethargy begins. And then I haven’t been exercising as much as I want. Kernan has been quite busy for the past mornings and, since he’s my running buddy, I can’t really run without him. Poor excuse, I know.
It took one very sluggish spell I had a few nights ago, to make me decide that this has to stop. I really need to power up.
I got wind about creatine, which was said to supplement your energy. But when I checked out some creatine reviews, I found out that they’re more for muscle building. I have no plans of being a body builder ever, thank you very much. So I’m going the natural route, back to veggies and fruits for me.
I’m also upping my water intake and lessening my sugar intake (gulp!) And if I can’t run in the morning, I’ll try doing my weight loss yoga again so that I’ll have a workout for the day. I’ll keep the plan simple for now so that it’s doable.
