No more ice cream

coloricecreamI’m feeling sick after finishing a tub of ice cream. I know I deserve this. I let myself indulge too much. I’ll remember never to eat ice cream while watching a movie again. Even if you think you can stop scooping, you can’t.

My stomach is so bloated, it still sticks out even if I’m already breathing in. Why does fatty food have to taste so good?

The past days, I received some clear signs that I needed to lose weight.

I was eating a bag of peanuts after having a hearty lunch when it flew into the air and scattered almost 3/4 of the content on the floor. Okay, it did not exactly fly but it did slip from my hand even if I was holding it fairly carefully.

Another time during lunch, a friend noticed and actually said I did gain weight. My jeans are also feeling a bit tighter and I won’t even say they’ve shrunk.

My email has been flooded with a lot of emails that say “lose weight fast” or “read adipex review” but I always ignored them — until now. It’s during this crunch times when quick fixes become so appealing. But then, do I really want to go down that road again?

I’ve always said nothing works more than real physical activity to shed those pounds so here I am trying to follow my own advice. I’ve bought a new copy of Hiphop Abs for starters just to help me get back in the workout groove again. Don’t want to go to the gym unless I find one that offers affordable yoga lessons.

In the meantime, I’m gonna pull my stomach in and focus on my dream body. For now, no more ice cream for me.
