My last indulgence for the month
This day concludes my maternity leave and I’m going back to work tomorrow. For the past weeks, I’ve been resting, reading, journaling, blogging, eating and indulging on top of my mommy duties.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new month and a new challenge for me: to get back in shape.
But before that, I decided to give myself one last indulgence before I finally launch my new fitness regimen and diet.

I received four Nestle Pops cups as give-aways from the Bloggin’ Poppin’ event last week and I ate 2 on that same night. I gave one to my brother and I reserved the last one especially for tonight.
I loved how the little cup fit right into my hand, which is great for on-the-go snacking or hiding a little guilty pleasure.
It was a bit of a challenge for my weak nails to strip off the cup’s plastic seal but once that was out of the way, I just flicked the cover and picked one pop after the other.
As I popped each of the chocolate covered ice cream in my mouth, I slowly savored the goodness of the melting chocolate and vanilla. It had just the right mix of sweetness to satisfy my craving. I got so lost in my little indulgence that the cup was empty before I knew it. I was so tempted to head to the nearby convenience store to buy myself another cup (maybe another tub).
But that’s enough indulgence for the night.
As an incentive for myself, I’ll buy a Nestle Pops tub next weekend if I’m able to accomplish my personal challenge for the week.
I’d sure love it if Nestle would come up with a chocolate-covered chocolate ice cream variant. For a chocoholic like me, that would definitely make staying away from the ice cream freezer much, much harder.

Nestle Pops retails at P25 for the 62 ml cup and P75 for the 211 ml tub. You can grab one from the supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores and even petrol outlets. Visit their site at http://getyourpopon.ph to learn more about Nestle Pops. Be sure to try the Pop d Stars game which can give you a chance to win an Xbox 360 with rock band game.

I wish it did. This one though entails manual picking and popping.
Do you love sweets? I imagine it must be a challenge to avoid sweet stuff if you’re diabetic and you have a sweet tooth. Actually eating anything chocolate does make me smile.
