The past few days were tough. A huge wave toppled me over, I almost got washed away. Scared I was going to sink deep and drown. I had nightmares and I would wake up with tears streaming down my face. The question ringing in my head: Why?

But I’m stronger than I thought I was, and I was able to stand up again. I’m done being scared. I’m done crying. The question is: What now?

I am moving forward. Pain can break your heart, but when it heals, you’ll emerge stronger than ever.
