I was taking a brain break when I chanced upon this photograph. (Photo credit goes to makemyegagementring.com) Brought back memories of the day hubby proposed. No it wasn’t as grand as this but it was special nonetheless.

We were coming home from work and I was craving for Wendy’s baked potato and cheese. But a persistent backache wouldn’t let me have a night out. So we picked up some takeout from Burger King and headed home. We were in the kitchen when he knelt on one knee and popped the question.

It was such a blissful moment, one that would always be etched in my memory. And now we’ve been together for more than nine years. In October, we will have been married for four.

I always tell him, I want us to grow old together and leave this earth together just like the ending in The Notebook. We’ve got a lifetime ahead of us and more memories to make.
