Thanks for your quick response. I guess I'll try the toner-emulsion-serum-cream since it's only less than half the price here. I've been wanting to get the Korean's clear and smooth skin. Let's see if it would work for me.

Off topic, I used to live in Pasig City and yes it takes around a month for the flood to subside. Take care I hope all goes well for you and your family.

You've got good stuff here in your blog, keep it up! ^_^

I see. In that case, you do need a richer moisturizer.

As far as I remember, each product acts as a booster in the sense that it prepares the skin to absorb or attain the maximum effect from each one.

I only have basic knowledge of the "function" of each type of product so here goes:

<blockquote>- The toner is responsible for restoring the ph balance of the skin after washing
- The emulsion clarifies the skin of other impurities (although I know toners usually do this already)
- The serum acts as a kind of repairing agent for skin damage
- The cream seals everything in and moisturizes your skin</blockquote>

I only bought the toner and cream because I am used to the "wash-tone-moisturize" routine then the saleslady gave me a free mini sample of the emulsion.

The emulsion sample ran out only after a week so I couldn't really say if there was a significant difference when I used the toner - emulsion - cream combo and when I used just the toner and cream.

Nevertheless, I did get a great "glowing" result after. I just couldn't maintain using the Arsainte line because it was a bit more expensive than Olay.

I think if budget is not much of an issue, it won't hurt to invest in all of the products since they each perform a significant function. If you go out a lot and your face is exposed to a lot of dirt or skin damaging elements, you may benefit from the emulsion and the serum.

But if you have budget constraints and you just need a good moisturizer, I think the toner and cream would suffice. The cream is very rich so I think it can keep up with your skin's moisture needs considering the cold weather there.

You may also want to use a sunblock with high SPF since it does wonders to protect your skin.

I've always admired Koreans' skin and wondered if it was because of the products they use, food they eat, genetics or maybe a combination of all three. ;)

I hope this helps. Maybe when you get to learn the Korean language and speak with the girls there, you can ask for tips on how they maintain their fabulous skin. Then maybe you could share it here too.

Hope you're having a great time in Korea, it must be nice there. Feel free to drop by here anytime. Take care! :)

Oh I was an Olay-user too for five years now. I think it's the perfect moisturizer for Filipinas. ^_^

Unfortunately, when we moved here in Korea about a year ago, Olay did not provide me the moisture I needed during the cold months. I had a major breakout due to the change in weather. I still use Olay during summer though.

I really hate to be in the search for that perfect moisturizer, troublesome for the skin and pocket! Here in Korea, almost all brands of cosmetics sell that set and I'm really confused about what's so important about each product: Toner, Emulsion, Serum, Cream.

Is that all the saleslady said? Just a "booster" for each product? I can't quite converse just yet with the sales representatives here. They can't speak English :(

Hi Ice, thanks for dropping by my blog. :) I only used the cream and it worked fine. I was tempted to buy the whole line at first because the sales lady said the products "boost" one another. But I figured such an elaborate skin care regimen would be too expensive to maintain and very time consuming too. After trying other creams, I chose to use Olay Regenerist and I use it until now with great results. :)

Hi Jayme, I would like to ask if you are still using this line up to now? I just bought the cream and I've been thinking if its worth buying the entire line or if the cream would actually suffice?
