I was home alone most of the day. Kernan was at a shoot while Jamaine was out with her ninangs.

I spent most of the day reading, journaling and cutting out pictures for my Vision Book.

I would have wanted to go out but it was scorching hot. So I just imagined I was sitting in the midst of a peaceful field enjoying the cool breeze on my cheeks while I breathed in the fresh air. (Yup, I like taking mental breaks like that.)

I thought it would be nice to have a lounge area inside your home or just your own peaceful place to relax and unwind.

Or a beautiful nook to enjoy some cold chocolate milk shake and cookies with a friend.

Or a cozy veranda to share an afternoon chat with some girlfriends.

Or a stylish outdoor dining area to celebrate a mini-family party.

Never thought finding home inspiration could be this fun.
