How to earn money with Adsense

July 12, 2009 in Money

I’ve never been a fan of Adsense. I tried it before on this blog but I got rid of it months after because I felt like my site was getting too cluttered.

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of reading about how to make money online and I’ve read several guides about how you can make a lot of money with Adsense niche sites.

The basic plan is you research keywords that have a high cost per click, you build a niche site that revolves around those keywords, place Adsense ads and wait for the money to roll in.

I did some research about high-CPC keywords and most of the terms are targeted toward loans, mortgages and mesothelioma cancer.

For example, the “loan consolidation student loans” keyword is ranked number one at an estimated at $ 53.76 per click.

The way I understand it, if you have a site that revolves around this topic and you get around 10 visitors a day who click on your adsense ads with these keywords, you can earn around $ 537.60 a day. Of course, you’ll earn more if you have more visitors who click on your ads.

The thing is when I looked at all the keywords, I couldn’t find any keyword or topic that interested me.

And interest is a crucial thing for me especially if it’s something I have to work on everyday.

So I guess I’ll have to skip Adsense for now and explore other make money online methods.
