Kalia’s christening is just hours away and I still can’t sleep.
I’ve been checking and re-checking all the items we need to bring.
I’ve got the registration form and the birth certificate copies in one envelope, the souvenirs packed together, the handycam charged to full battery and extra memory cards for the camera.
Our outfits are all set and Kalia’s baptismal gown (which was also the one Jamaine used) will be brought by her lola tomorrow.
I’ve already confirmed details and given directions to the ninongs and ninangs plus a re-confirmation call to the restaurant.
I just hope the weather will be nicer so everyone can make it.
I also hope Kalia will be in a real good mood even if she sees “all those strangers.”
I better get some sleep.
