“You seem a little smaller (or was it slimmer or thinner?) a few weeks ago…” a co-worker commented.
No, I wasn’t offended. I had to give it to the guy for at least trying to be tactful.
“Yeah, I know. But I guess I’d rather be big and happy than small and unhappy.”
I’ve been doing yoga on and off but I’ve been eating chocolate and popcorn on and on. Oh yeah, I had a burger, fries and choco fudge sundae over the weekend. And a bowl of yang chao rice awhile ago for lunch.
I like eating, who doesn’t?
Sometimes I still feel like I can eat anything and magically not gain the weight just as I did 10 years ago. Most of the time, I’m just too happy to care.
So here I am with no make – up, slightly bigger eyebags (blame it on the sleepless nights thinking about hubby), and chubbier cheeks.

But I am the happiest I’ve ever been. So very happy. The “words-are-not-enough-to-describe-it” kind of happy.
Then again, nobody said I can’t be fabulously small and happy too.
So okay, I’m laying off the popcorn and rice bowls for now. And maybe I can try quitting eating less chocolate for awhile.
And while I blog a lot, I’m gonna work out even more.
Off to the yoga mat, I go.
Have a fabulous week everyone!
And in case you’re wondering, you’re sexier than you think you are.

you know, i love eating too, but i find it unfair that even if i eat less, i still gain weight. a few of my friends can eat a box of donuts and not even gain weight. BUT like you said, happiness is a state of mind and not dependent on how big or small you are.
happy Monday.

I know, it does seem unfair doesn’t it? But most of the time, I just try to focus on having a healthy body that lets me do the things I want. That is what’s most important after all.
Happy vacay!
Fabulously small and happy too. I like that! Hehehe. Happy Tuesday!

Actually, it should be “fabulously sexy, pretty and happy” too.
Hope your week’s going great!
That was a nice compliment Jayme. I do think so that I look sexier now, LOL!
Oh, want to have yoga sessions too!
That’s the spirit Minnie!
Yoga can stretch your legs so good, it may help make running kinder to your leg muscles. There are DVDs naman being sold around, no need for classes unless you really want to.
