Summer’s almost here. Hubby is proposing a trip to Bora for a race. Wanna get a tattoo?

Kernan has broached the idea a few times but I always refused. What happens when you get old and it gets all wrinkly? I haven’t really seen a wrinkled tattoo yet but I don’t think it will look as nice.

Still, I think it’s cool how some people get lots of tattoos, they see their body as a work of art and they’re confident enough to flaunt it. I guess it looks extra cooler when you go to the beach and you can bare all your tattoos for everyone to see.

The idea of getting inked does cross my mind sometimes, I guess if I do get a tattoo it’s gotta be an image that reminds me of a higher purpose. I don’t really need decorations on my skin, thank you very much.

Maybe an infinity symbol, a circle of life, or a lotus flower. I want it on the back of my hand or on my wrist so I can always see it. I want it in rainbow colors too.

It would be great if I can easily remove it when I don’t need it anymore. Maybe if it’s as easy as wiping it out with a tattoo removal cream, I’d be more eager to get inked. Heck, I might even get a different one every year depending on my current outlook.

Until then, maybe I’ll just ask Jamaine to draw on my hand.
