I always say when you’re down, there’s nowhere else to go but up. And when you’re up there, there’s nowhere else to go but higher.

Yup, I’m activating maximum positive vibes today. I came from a coverage and got exhausted with the cold – hot temps of commuting via the MRT, covering an event in a hotel, commuting again and going back to the office in the late afternoon. Not to mention, I had to rush to the nearest bookstore I could find to buy the books I promised to the little ones.

It’s a good thing my lunch buddy Analyn was sweet enough to set aside a plate from her birthday lunch treat at the office. I got hungry from all the commuting.

I only wish that when I get home, my laptop will be back to life.

I was working on a project around 4am this morning when it suddenly died. I thought it was just a sign that I should go to sleep. But when I woke up this morning, my dear old laptop wouldn’t turn on.

I felt a bit anxious thinking about all the things I need to do and the possibility of having to spend money I saved to buy a new one.

I know this sounds like a pretty mundane concern, I guess I’m just really tired. But I’m sure this will all turn out for the better.

It always does.
