Cool convertible sofa

Leather, minimalist design, dark – colored and L – shaped. Those were the criteria we had when we were searching for a sofa a couple of weeks ago.

Kernan and I both agreed that we wanted contemporary furniture so all the fluffy and ornate – looking couches were out. Our search took us from the Pasig furniture shops with the old-fashioned selections to SM Megamall with pricier pieces.

We ended up with a good bargain for a leather sofa at SM Hypermart — which was quite surprising because that was the last place we’d expect to go to find furniture. We just wanted to buy some groceries and happened to pass by the furniture section. Luck was smiling down on us because the “it” sofa we were looking for was on sale.

But if we had found this cool piece of furniture, I would have snapped this up too.

How cool is that?

This convertible and multi – functional sofa is called Cafe + Leche by Spanish designers at Ebuala. According to their site, they like “creating objects that achieve coherence from the functional and poetical point of view.”

Now that’s what I call inspired. :)

I want this sofa too! I can just picture it in our living room!

I just hope I can go home and renovate our house na! Can’t wait talaga!! Sana if we plan to do that, we would have enough money for a major revamp of the house! =)

We have a ffurniture shop in the Algarve, Portugal and also sell Ebuala products. Nicely designed and reasonably priced, they are a favourite with our clients too. :)
