Beauty tips from an ex-pimple face

Posted May 20th, 2008 by Jayme

My face was oily, splotched with red marks here and there, spotted with scars and acne.

I wish I could say my disastrous face was the result of long overnights finishing school projects.

But the truth is, it was all caused by my excessive vanity.

How to be pretty while preggy

Posted March 1st, 2008 by Jayme

“Wow, you look blooming!”

I used baby powder on my face until college. I only learned to use a compact, cheek tint and lip balm when I started working. Even then, I loved the simplicity of just having a bare [...]

Lovely happy face

Posted January 22nd, 2008 by Jayme

This special cream is one of the newest (and fast becoming “most-loved”) product in my beauty arsenal.
The Face Shop dubs this product as “love in a bottle” and it belongs to their “happy line.” Now how’s that for smart marketing?
I’ve heard of TFS even before it opened its first store in the Philippines in 2006. [...]

Blast from the past: The Kikay Baby

Posted October 7th, 2007 by Jayme

Can you guess who this kikay baby is?
Yup, that’s me.
I was looking for some photos that we could use for our invites and wedding AVP when I chanced upon this 24-year old snapshot.
I can’t really remember how this happened but Mama used to tell me a story about how I would rummage through her make-up [...]
