I was making a futile attempt to clean up my inbox a few days ago when I found this:

This was the birthday invitation I drafted for Kalia’s first birthday two years ago. (Which reminded me, I have three and four years respectively to prepare for my girls’ mini debuts!)

I was just learning how to use Photoshop then but you can’t tell, can you? Well, my work was half done after I downloaded some Disney wallpapers. Then I just laid out Kalia’s photos and brushed some borders on them in Photoshop.

I’ll probably do the same for their seventh birthday… and for their grand debut, and for their bridal shower invitations. Kidding. I actually have an inkling of what my girls will like when they grow up, but their tastes change a lot so I’ll have to wait and see.

Sometimes I still get overwhelmed about how fast they grow up, I guess the feeling intensifies when you’ve got a kid in school. I’m just trying to focus on the present and enjoy the moment while they still are my babies.
