The only way I can stop working
“If I steadily make $5,000 every month online, is it okay if I stop working?” I asked my darling hubby.
“Sure. In that case, can I be your house husband?” He said jokingly.
“Why not? At least we’d both be home with the kids.”
Lately, I’ve been thinking of a way to legitimately earn a steady income online.
(I emphasized legitimately because in my search for work - at - home opportunities, I’ve come across a lot of sites scamming poor people to shell out money just to make a quick buck.)
I’m thinking having an online business is one of the ways I can stay home with the kids and still contribute to the family finances.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my job now. It’s not just something to pay the bills. It’s something I actually enjoy doing.
But at the end of the day, the fact remains that my job is not my own and I am not my own boss. I work from 9 to 6 pm and my salary has a limit.
I’m thinking it would be great to have my own business where I command myself, my own working hours and my own earning capacity.
And since I’m not really the saleswoman type who can sell Tupperware and Avon products door to door, an online business is one of the best ways to go for me.
I’m still researching and reading up on some business models I found online. After digesting the information, I will road test them to see if they really work.
Rest assured, if I do find out a workable and legitimate way how to earn $5,000 or more per month, I’d still be blogging and I’d be sharing the techniques here.
Or, if you’re reading this and already know how to, would you care to share? You’d be scoring “karma points” in my book for helping this mother to spend more time with her husband and daughters. ![]()
